Laptop anatomy: the systems that work together
A laptop is not one specification. Its processor handles general instructions; memory keeps active work ready; storage retains files and applications; the graphics system draws the screen; and the cooling system moves heat away from components.
The display, keyboard, touchpad, webcam, wireless radios, battery, charger and ports shape everyday usability. A fast processor cannot compensate for insufficient memory, unsuitable storage or a display that does not fit the work.
